Welcome...

I have a deep and abiding love for all the inhabitants of this planet (Earth) and view each one as my equal.

My message is not new, but with my passionate desire to help heal the planet, I join my voice to the many voices who have sung before and who are now singing to help us all experience "a whole new world".

Yes, I truly believe that LOVE IS THE ANSWER!

I Have (Not a “DREAM”… But) the Father’s “VISION” Sealed in My Mind

I Have (Not a “DREAM”… But)

the Father’s “VISION”

Sealed

in My Mind

(WARNING:  This post is bound to disturb and haunt you.)

Monday, January 16, 2017 marks the celebration of the USA’s “Civil Rights’ Day.”  As part of the festivities, Martin Luther King Jr.’s public “I Have a Dream” speech will be referred to, quoted and opined.  MLK is known as an “American civil rights activist” who, during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom on August 28, 1963, called for an end to racism in the United States and called for civil and economic rights. This speech was originally delivered to over 250,000 civil rights supporters from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., and is known as representing a defining moment of the American Civil Rights Movement.  (Thank you for the fore-going, WIKI.)  Frequently, no matter the day or time of year, people will refer to the words “I have a dream” and be alluding to MLK’s proffered thoughts.

I, however, have more than *a dream.* I have an ever-present *vision* which has seared itself within my CONSCIOUS awareness and haunts every decision I make, every thought I think, every feeling I have.

This post is an attempt to assist any reader to gain understanding into HOW I utilize my unique-to-humans-ability to *Imagine*.  And, perhaps, expand their own interest in, perception of, and ability to utilize their mental sinews in a similar manner.  It is my hope that enough of us joined together as “one mind” and utilizing our brains in a sharp, consistent, unified manner… powered by pure hearts… WILL bring about the realization of my singular *vision.*

Literally, the picture which is sealed in my mind is:

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world

The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying I love you

I hear babies laugh,* I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world

Although deeply buried from most people’s memories, our very first experiences established an emotional foundation for the rest of our existence.   This emotional foundation occurs long before one’s initial mortal infancy, yet directs and influences every moment of our life.  When our current environment presents something out of line with our nascent emotions, we sense an inner angst.  As we mature physically and interact with others along our life’s journey, we usually learn to react to this angst in ways similar to the most influential adults in our environment.  We adapt negative responses of anger, frustration, depression, and unhappiness to replace the void of the positive emotions of our pre-mortal past.  Thus, like the frustrated man who smashes his car’s blinking “check engine” light, we seem to have a temporary reprieve from this warning light within.

These feelings and reactions, though appearing appropriate because those around us utilize them, establish habits which become character which continues to influence, not only our self, but everyone else in the world… whether we ever personally interact with them or not.  Likewise, every other individual who has ever lived is currently affecting our present experience.  Truly, the world has changed us.  And we are changing it.

Yet, even as adults, we have not forgotten what gentleness is, what kindness is, what love, security, and unconditional self-worth are.  Our minds will forever compare our current experiences with its initial pre-mortal foundational alignment.

Because we experienced it once, we know deep inside that it is real and possible.  It is because of this alignment that we feel that it must be possible for a world to exist where we are cared for, valued above all others, and in which we are provided security and everything else that we need to survive without being codependent for these needs.  But the improbability of experiencing as an adult what we did as an infant is high.  For many, contrasting experiences are the only ones they will ever know.  This fact does not, however, stop us from feeling the hope that continually affects our emotions.  When what we hope for is realized, we are happy.  When what we know is possible becomes improbable, we are unhappy.

If you will, join with me in using our combined imaginations:

Imagine that we finally develop and live in a perfect human world.  Although improbable with the current forms of governments and socioeconomic systems we allow to control our lives, it is not impossible to imagine that we can accomplish this goal as a unified human race.  It is not impossible to imagine a perfect world.  In fact, it is what we hope for, that which we feel can be possible in spite of the improbabilities that seem to be part of our present experience.

In my vision, not only is nature pristine and babies laugh, but I enjoy as much interaction with others as I choose and this interaction contributes to my preferred emotional state.  Although a “society” is the existence of a group of human beings interacting with each other, a “sociality” is the way that people socialize and interact with each other. A perfect world is where human beings are treated and treat other humans in such a way (sociality) that there exists joy.  And, in my ever-present vision, this joy is coupled with eternal glory, or rather, the real truth of each and every person, place or thing.  In my mind, my eternal *vision,* we interact with JOY and real truth, living in complete congruence and without enmity to who we were foundationalized to be.  The only way to promulgate this degree of sociality is for each individual to interact always in ways that give, not praise to another’s ears, but peace to another’s heart... for the long term.  In this type of sociality, each human, each moment, with every thought, feeling, and action, lives in deep and complete honesty and integrity with their innermost alignment.  There is no hypocrisy.  No justification of actions. There is no need for either of these.   The mind is a pure vessel for divine thought.  The heart is a pure vessel for ecstatic joy.  And, because each and every individual human in this pristine environment is, thusly, living humanely and in harmony, all of nature and each other human is alive and mutually enlivened.  The rewards are, thus, internal and everlasting.

In my previous blog post, I left any dedicated reader in the midst of a story. I had just been bailed out of jail by Dave.  Although many have asked for “the rest of the story,” I have felt restrained until I knew just where that story was going.  I had to live it first, at least far enough along so that I could offer some finalization to that particular sub-plot.  I have learned and experienced much since then.  Even now, though I clearly see the “end,” I do not have a clear vision of the intermediary steps.  Nevertheless, I have walked each step like each step before, with a steady and firm reliance on the “Powers that Be” who make Themselves known within me.  Though I would love to see more of the intervening tunnel taking me through my present situation and to my known and seared-in-vision, I deeply trust that the intermediary steps are lit up as far in advance as “They” deem necessary.  Truly, I have “sufficient for my needs” this and each and every moment… even in the fore-knowledge department.

Yes, I am not the first to have gone through similar mis-placed suspicions and judgments while living among mortals.  WHY???  Because I, and those like me, are mis-fits, “aliens”.  We long for and belong to the “True Order of God” and conduct ourselves as benefitting the good of all, as the servants we are.  Indeed, we offend often even as we seek to uplift and serve, primarily because we are not understood by those conditioned to mortal rules and mores.  We think differently.  We have different desires in our hearts, a different vision in the forefront of our minds.  We live true to who we truly are, who we were foundationalized to be before entering this brutal, brutish, hypocritical world.

Because I am living TRUE to WHO I AM, and WHO I AM offends many… including these individuals, I am known, as the one commonly known as “Jesus”, as a “Rock of Offense.”  Yet, even he was attributed to say, “I come, not to bring peace but a sword.”

So, as a thinking reader, you are probably wondering, “If you, Kimberly, are so diligent and desirous of establishing and living within the sociality that you have expressed, why, then, would your present experience seem to indicate otherwise?”

The same reason why “Jesus said ‘love everyone, treat them kindly, too.  When your heart is filled with love, others will love you’” (this is a well-known song, taught to Latter-day Saint young children).  And yet, he was crucified!!!  You see, many mis-believe that “when your heart is filled with love others will love you.”  That is not the case in this temporary world.  In this world, when your heart is filled to any degree with a counterfeit type of love, one befitting this present existence, THEN… and only then… may it be received as acceptable and worthy of “others will love you.”

The only way to understand this is with eternal perspective.  If one wishes to be an “honorable man or woman of this world” then that one (think of a Mother Teresa) might find peace in applying bandages and assisting the dying.  As much as I personally respect Mother Teresa and all others who wear out their lives in similar manner, this is not enough for me.  Thus, she receives “Sainthood”, while my name has largely been spurned and derided, misunderstood.  I want to apply, not bandages, but sufficient and pure hope.  My words are my sword.  My intention is that lives will be re-enlivened, sociality will be revitalized.  The real truth for each and every individual will infuse them with the life-giving vision so that they will then join with me in drawing ever closer to our shared glorious end.

Can I do that?  Can I do that now?  With words?  I will try.

Let’s start with the basics.  Here are the CORRECT definitions for words and terms that many banter back and forth, having no clue what the REAL TRUTH is behind these obscure sayings.  Start by reading “scripture” and replacing the “religious words” that are bolded, with those in underlined italics.

Replace Satan, Lucifer, the devil with "mortal human nature."  Satan is the action or what an individual does for their own individual benefit.  Lucifer is the way an individual thinks when he’s wanting his own individual best interests.  Likewise, the Devil is how a person feels when he’s thinking and acting for himself.

 Replace God, the Lord, Heavenly Father with “our conscious, humane humanity” (i.e., what we all know is good and right.

 Replace God, the Father, your true self, higher self, god, with your advanced self’s emotional alignment or whole and complete spirit (Holy Ghost), JOY.

Replace Enmity with our feelings which represent the joy to misery continuum; our conscience; our true self.

Replace Saints of God with those who wait patiently for “the One anointed to bring peace to this planet” to return and do so.  They have vigilantly sought for and implanted the “seal of God in their foreheads.”   These “saints” understand the will of the Father, as it is forefront in all their thoughts. They ridicule and judge none, worship none, fear none, and are unaffected by the vicissitudes created by the monetary system. (How many who call themselves Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Islamics, ‘Latter Day Saints’, Atheists, Agnostics, etc. TRULY fit this correct profile?)

Replace Angels of God with those who likewise have the “seal of God in their foreheads” but have additionally chosen to give their own lives, their own capabilities to bring forth this paradisiacal state.  They have felt the inner “call” of their purified heart and have responded, or rather, “elected” to follow wherever it may lead.  (Thus, in religious terms, their “Calling and Election” has been made sure.)  They risk all they are, all they ever could hope to individually be to become an amalgamated part of “the One Anointed to bring peace to this planet.”  These are the “Venus Women” allegorically spoken of.

Replace female, feminine, woman (literally, meaning “womb-man”) with a human who has a heart, a “womb of the spirit,” that is capable of feeling DEEPLY because, through vast experience, it has been broken open, spiritually “circumcised.”  She represents a true “gentle” man.  Of either gender. These are they who “shall inherit the earth”.  These are the “meek” and gentle, seeking not that which benefits themselves at the expense of all others.  They have become truly humane.  The earth is the bridge between Venus women and Mars men, the probationary experience where those mortals who are developing a conscience and have evolved through the animal kingdom are “let out of their (spirit) prison” on a probationary status to see what they will do with the capacity to imagine and think.  Will they utilize these abilities to project and interact with good will towards all?  If so, they will develop into spiritual women.  The ability to *imagine* and *think* are ONLY carried out correctly by these women… because they first and foremost engage their purified hearts and have established “the seal of the Father in their foreheads.”  These are they who “come down through the clouds” with “Jesus Christ” at his “Second Coming”.

And the “Second Coming” can better be understood as the end result of humanity’s experience.  The earth is again in the same state as it was in the beginning:  Peace.  Harmony.  Purity.  Humane Behavior from All, for all.  Always.  The “Second Coming of Jesus Christ” is global humanity.  The heart (womb) is capable of being impregnated by emotion to various degrees.  The greatest and most desirable emotion… indeed the “grand prize” of successfully completing mortality… is joy, the WHOLE (entire, Holy) Spirit.  After sufficient incubation of this degree of pure emotion (JOY), a new creature has come into being.  (Think of the drastic change many mortals exhibit after a “near death experience.”)  Mary (meaning “bitter”) is symbolic for one who utilizes sufficient hope and spends “40 days in the wilderness” (or as long as it takes to extricate her former desires and habits) and has, thus, gone through purification of her former beliefs, desires and actions—“conceives by the Holy Spirit (Ghost as it is an enigma, unseen) and brings forth a new life, deserving a new name.

Replace Christ with hope, real truth.  And hope is best defined as that which we feel can be possible in spite of the improbabilities that seem to be part of our present experience.  Thus, Christ is a feeling, the highest vibration possible; one of rejoicing in exceeding gladness, no matter the current sensory input.  This feeling is the real truth of one’s being.  This feeling (a.k.a light, intelligence, spirit, energy) is the “father” or creator of your current “fallen” state… only because it chose to forget its higher octave of existence to become… temporarily (and thus, temporal, carnal, fallen)… *you*.

And the “real truth” of WHY YOU EXIST is so that you can develop to the place of experiencing (ONLY) JOY.  JOY is only possible after emotional maturity has been achieved… in the physical body.  Truly, you are a “spiritual being having a physical experience.”  Emotional maturity, uniting the spiritual and physical, is only achieved (like all maturity) when the growth and developmental sequences have taken place with proper and adequate (emotional) nutrients all along the way.  These emotional nutrients are the neurotransmitters oxytocin and serotonin.  These brain chemicals are manufactured and released when humans are humane and involved in activities which unite and bond them with another or others.  Upon release of these chemicals, the experience is recorded in memory as part of their emotional foundational experience.  Most individuals currently on this planet are FAR from emotionally mature.  Indeed, there exists a false sense of maturity.  Just because a person looks in the mirror (or is perceived by others) and sees “age”, OR has a substantial bank account/ diploma/ oversees control over many others, or the like, does NOT mean they have “matured” emotionally.  In fact, those very features generally prohibit one from exemplifying emotional maturity.  JOY is impossible except for those who have gone through and successfully completed their spiritual training.

Replace Sex with a sharing of genetic information.  Thus, sex can occur through physical intimacy and sharing of bodily fluids.  However, far more common is the sexual interchange which takes place when exchanging ideas through written or verbal communication.  Any time a proffered idea holds sway over our former understanding, bringing a greater degree of hope and increase in life, sex has taken place.  Why?  Because the very genetic material, the DNA, changes to allow this enhanced upgrade.  A new creature, even if only slightly more alive, is the result.  Only these humane and service-oriented individuals will be taught the principles for “eternal life” AND have the bodies commensurate for living that life.  And only those who have power over others’ existence, including creating them and teaching them correct, foundational human premises, deserve the reward that all people desire... sexual abilities for all eternity.  (As the reader reads further, reflect upon this revealed definition of “sex” in conjunction with Mary and her conception of the Son.)

Understand Joy as the result of a human action meeting the expectation of a human thought when there exists the possibility that the expectation might not be met.  (Re-read this many times and think about it!  It’s vital to understanding the difference between humans and other forms of matter.)  Again, the joy comes from knowing what we expect from an experience, but not knowing how the experience is going to end, and then having the experience end how we expected it to end.  The fullest extent of joy is only possible when it is the result of enhancing global harmony.

We would find no joy in experiencing something that we have already experienced time and time and time and time … into infinity … again.  The things that bring us joy is the unexpected, the experience of things that we’ve never experienced before; that we didn’t see coming.  And the only way these experiences can take place is if there are other life forms in our environment that can do things that are unexpected and unknown to us.  Humans are that they might experience joy.

We have a thought. That thought elicits a desire for positive benefit (expectation).  We choose to act upon that thought and desire.  When there is a match in expectation outcome, the result is Joy.

Replace commandments with the prompted feelings and ideas offered by a pure heart and mind whose real intent is humane action and doing that which is good for all equally.

Replace sin with any action (including thoughts) which detract from one’s joy.  Sin is “committed” by by-passing one’s “alarm system”, their feelings of angst, etc. and not choosing the humane prompting that would have been offered if that one had not chosen to be “past feeling.” ALL sin [moral decisions] will be forgiven, except “denying the Holy Ghost,” which is actually the side of your brain that is all you, that you have not let others invade and occupy.

Replace civil with emotionally mature, gentle, humane, seeking the long-term benefit of each and every one.

Replace happiness with the feelings that we receive when we work righteousness, or rather, being actively engaged in doing good things, and feeling joy.  Happiness suggests we feel an emotional alignment, a balance.  And unhappiness as enmity, or the feelings that we receive when we do evil.  When we are miserable, there is an absence of joy.  In other words, this enmity or unhappiness is our conscience speaking.  Thus, happiness and evil are opposite ends of the spectrum.  We are either doing things in alignment with our level of humanity—“happy”, or doing otherwise—evil.  The “reward” for these actions is either “joy” or “misery.”

Replace dream with a series of thoughts, images, and sensations occurring in a person's mind during sleep or reduced consciousness.  And consciousness as the degree of conscience, enmity, feeling one is capable of.  Alertness.  Ability to understand the reality of life.  When an individual has low-levels of consciousness, no matter how awake they may seem or believe themselves to be, they are nothing more than “zombies,” “robotic human look-alikes,” suffering from hallucinations and interacting with others as in a fantasy.

Replace “Seal of the Father in one’s forehead” with the vision of global camaraderie, pristine wholeness and JOY.  That which we each, connected via our hearts into One Humane Being see within our mind’s eye.  Figuratively speaking, we think and understand in our “foreheads.”  When people receive the “seal of God in their foreheads,” they are thinking, perceiving, and understanding the truths of God properly, thus reacting to their cognitive processes with righteous works.

Replace meek  with being willing to subdue one’s individual needs and desires for those which are of the good of all and lowly in heart with NOT sad or depressed.  To be lowly in heart indicates that a person is capable of feeling deeply.  Their heart has been “circumcised”, meaning the emotional shell has been broken open and they interact with others from a place of humanity and brotherly love.  They have experienced and learned much through heart-break and have dug down deep to excavate a vessel worthy of being filled with much feeling:  JOY on the one end of the pole and MISERY on the other.

Replace virgin with a female (again, remember that scripturally, gender applies to the state of the spirit, NOT the physical body) who has had Jesus Christ (Real Truth) cast out “seven devils” or counterfeit characteristics from “her” nature.  She is no longer “adulterated” but has become “pure” and lives from a constant state of humanity as dictated by her virtuous heart and its emotional maturity.

Okay now.  With the establishment of an entirely new “dictionary,” let’s get down to some fun business!  J  My intent with the unveiling of these definitions has been to show the dedicated reader how she might be able to open up some of the symbolic language and allegories purposefully hidden from the casual reader of scripture.  Additionally, it is to examine that there is NO Religion, NO Government, No organized entity that has the power to bring about world peace except and unless it comes from individual humane hearts.  Those hearts then can, and must, join together… with only the purest of intentions and transparency of funds… to establish harmony.

Yes, This is my vision.  Global harmony.

Well was it said:

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, (pull the same load “I” pull) and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden (that which is carried) is light. (Matthew 11:27–30)

And just WHO is the “I”/ “me”/ “my” speaking in this scripture?  Jesus Christ, or better, the REAL TRUTH of Who YOU Are.

Let’s take another scriptural passage, again commonly misunderstood.  See what you can do with these new definitions.  Only with pure intent will the Real Truth open up for you.

And the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of his kingdom there will be no end."

And Mary said to the angel, "How shall this be, since I have no husband?" And the angel said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God. And behold, your kinswoman Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son; and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. For with God nothing will be impossible."

Did you get it?  Re-read it.  Over and over.  Again, with a broken-open heart and with pure intent.  See who You are!

Devote yourselves to seeing and feeling the grandeur of WHO YOU ARE.  As you live in this constant state with your consciousness continually expanding, you will be so in harmony with your true nature that power will flow mightily into your life.  Not “power” as the mortal world currently defines it, but pure power, intelligence, the wisdom to interact appropriately at all times and in all places.

Although you, like all others, learned early on to adopt patterns and behaviors that conformed more to those mortals around you than to your earliest pure feelings established in our nascent environment, thus aging into an adult without emotionally maturing beyond our infancy, you CAN reverse this process… and its effects.  We bring the future and past together in the present when we have “no guard up” but have “open hearts and minds”, living in the now yet with the wisdom of the past and the pure vision of the future.

Although “Satan” hath been given power to bruise our heels all the days of our (mortal) lives, when we finally come to an understanding of the righteousness of the Father and the commandments that he hath given unto us; then shall we have power to crush the head of Satan, or in other words, destroy his kingdom with righteousness.  (When we act contrary to our humanity, our feet are symbolically dirtied or wounded.  Thus, Jesus washing his disciples’ feet indicates they are taught how to act in concert with humane principles.  Their feet then carry them to places… and actions… of peace.)

~~~
NOW…
For those who have found their way to and through the “Marvelous Work and a Wonder”, here are a couple of the “prophecies” made concerning me and my role:
“Oh, blessed day when some unselfish “wise one” shows up with the technology, the means, and the desire to not want to make a profit off of providing the human race with life, liberty, and most importantly…
…the pursuit of happiness.
That type of person surely can’t be from this planet!”
“More than likely, Kimberly Wallis will be the one appointed to watch over the funds of the WMF*, (though she might not know it yet J ) so it is to her that those will be directed who want to get involved financially in that foundation.”
The following is taken from my blog post of March 10, 2009 while in Ecuador:
Saturday, Krystal and I got up very early and started out with Luis and his family via their car. Partway to Puerto Quito, traffic was stalled because of a landslide. Huge boulders and piles of mud filled the road. As we waited for it to be cleared by the tractors and crew, Marcela, Luis’ wife, commented that they had been inundated by an inordinate amount of rain over the last few months. Interesting! (Right about the time I had found The Sealed Portion there was unprecedented flooding very near my house in Santa Clara, Utah… Hmmmm.)
Arriving at Puerto Quito, Luis took care of his business there at the school site and then realized that his brakes were broken on the car. While he worked on the car, the others of us walked up and down the main street of town. Groups of pre-teen homeless boys, like swarms of bees, molested the local shopkeepers, kicking at their metal doors and otherwise making their lives, obviously, frustrated. I thought of my own Spencer (12) and Parker (10) and realized that it could easily be “them” in this situation if it were reversed.
After fixing the car and quite a lengthy investigation, Luis was able to find the name and whereabouts of the English teacher. When we found his house, both he and his wife, Miriam, happened to be home and graciously invited us in. As Marcela needed to be back to work in Quito that evening, we just had a short amount of time to visit. I gave them my copy in English of the prospectus I had prepared of Harmony House. Bolivar read through it and asked questions (in his halting English) while his wife gleaned what she could. Excitedly, she called the “Governor” of the province and was able to get me a spur-of-the-moment meeting with her.
When we arrived at the governor’s office, I was sweaty and “glistening” from the high humidity and dressed in Capri pants and a white T-shirt, my hair pulled back in a pony tail—not how one would typically dress for the occasion, but I’m sure it was all perfect. I was at peace.
As we waited a few minutes, Bolivar seemed to proceed to attempt to “sell” me on why Puerto Quito needed Harmony House more than any other place in Ecuador. (Although my heart filled with the disparity of the situation of so many young, needy children—as well as adults, I was beaming inside that I might have just found the match between my burning desire and others’ needs being fulfilled!) When the Governor came, I was introduced and then the three of them, Luis, Bolivar and Miriam presented my heart’s vision—at least I believe they did, as it was all done in Spanish and I only understood bits and pieces. They waited after asking me if I knew the meaning of her name “Narciza” (“the attribute of the human psyche characterized by a great amount of admiration of oneself; self love”—I had to look it up to be sure after I had gotten home :-)). Not remembering the exact definition, still I responded that with that name, she must be perfect for her job. :-)
As they commenced talking about Harmony House, it was obvious that Narciza was only partially interested and had a great many things weighing on her mind as she proceeded to open and read her mail. Occasionally she would ask questions or make comments. Although I have gotten somewhat capable of understanding spoken Spanish, I have never heard anyone speak as rapidly as she did and therefore, could glean very little from her words.
Narciza seemed greatly intrigued that someone (me) from the United States would come to her country and desire to truly help. I realized that she was focused on the “milliones” of dollars that it would require to facilitate my plan and she emphatically presented that they had no money to offer, though they could donate land. I interceded as best I could that “the focus is NOT on the money, but on the hearts and the hands of willing people.” I told her that I believe that everyone in the world has a beautiful heart, although some seem tightly closed at the present. There are a great many that see the grave situation of the present world and would like to help, but few have the proper vision of how to go about this.
I shared my belief that there are many people who could help in some way (large or small), and though some considered me “loco”, we each needed to proceed in our own unique way, even if not understood by others. One might have a box of left-over tile from a building project. Another may be moving to a smaller home and have children’s books, musical instruments, clothes, furniture or other materials that would be helpful to donate to the children. Another may have a great desire to manually work, thereby dedicating a month/ summer/ retirement/ rest of their life to building up and maintaining the facility or helping “parent” the children. Another may have money to donate but no interest or ability to directly help. Another might want to personally volunteer, but not have the money to get here. Yet another may have great organizing abilities to oversee the volunteers, etc. etc. I shared that this project, I believe, was one that was greatly needed by all the people in the world and that this first one would serve as a prototype for others and that, I believe, Harmony Houses will dot the globe some day.
Especially considering the current economic situation of the United States and the rest of the world, it is highly likely that this project will end up benefitting many people that never would have imagined themselves involved—or their children or grandchildren.
Not only that, but I have already met many people right here in Ecuador that have expressed interest in helping with this project, again, each in their own unique way.
Harmony House will be mostly self-sustaining in that most of the food will be produced on site through the fruit trees and gardens grown and tended there. Where possible, the power, sewage and water will be as efficient, even self-sufficient, as possible. Also, the children will be taught all the basic skills (at least to some degree) of running the community, such as gardening, maintaining the facilities, cleaning, helping to prepare the basic meals, caring for the clothes, etc. Depending on their interests and desires, they will be able to have further, more intensive training in any of these areas.
Lighthouse Academy, the sister component of Harmony House, is the name of the type of education that will be in place at Harmony House. In this system, the curriculum is largely determined by the child’s heart. Literature, reading, writing, arithmetic, music will all be taught utilizing “the classics” but the GREATEST classic for each child will be the “book” they “write” through their own experiences. There will be much freedom during the day to pursue their individual desires and become proficient in the areas of their choosing. This will be done through mentoring, individual study, group projects, or in other ways determined by their area of interest and in consultation with their educational advisors.
Because of time constraints and language impediments, I did not completely “flesh out” the Harmony House concept in our brief (probably 20 minute) meeting—nor will I here. However, I truly see Harmony House as a powerful way to mend the world, through the hearts and hands of those willing to help.
Not only will the children be raised to live healthy, empowered, Joy-filled lives that benefit many others as well, but the outlying community itself will be blessed. Yes, there will be less and less “swarms” of molesting or haunting street children, but the effect will be much greater than that. Unlike any other program, Harmony House is not a barricaded structure but instead depends upon interaction with others.
The principles taught and lived at Harmony House are those that I have discovered and implemented in my own life and with my own children. They are the ones that created apparent miracles in the lives of the children in my preschool in the States and that have created rippling out effects from those who have attended my seminars. They are the very same principles that I have earnestly sought (and found) and been writing about in my books. Yet they are more pure and feasible now, because of my experiences. These principles are all about respecting all others (and HOW to do that) while living happy, empowered, healthy lives.
Only those with a degree of understanding and a desire to master these principles will be allowed to interact with the children within Harmony House. I believe that we will see similar results: physical bodies as well as emotions will be healed, intellect and creativity unseen before will be unleashed, and a peace and Joy will be found within each heart and, thus, within the collective interaction of all those living and helping there.
Although in no way opulent, Harmony House will be built, run and maintained with a high quality of workmanship and materials. The flower-graced lawns and the attention to detail of each structure will all echo the theme of respect and beautiful harmony. Music and laughter, learning and creativity will sing through the interactions allowed and encouraged by the setting.
People from all over the world who agree to the principles of H.H. (all hinging on a correct understanding and living of the “Golden Rule”), who have a craft or interest to share, will serve as “mentors” for the children who have similar interests. Those from the nearby communities will be invited to participate in periodic concerts and art shows or other “performances” where the children will perform and sell through “admission” and individual transactions the pieces they have been working/learning on. In this way, they will gain a sense of pride in their accomplishments, gain “feedback” from others, prepare for their future, as well as earn spending (or saving) money that they might choose to utilize for desired “things” (such as chocolate bars, iPods, things not considered “basic necessities” and provided by H.H.). By the time of maturity, these children will be prepared to enter out into the greater community as a true, whole, healed, happy, productive adult, ready to pursue an occupation of their passion and training as well as continue to interact in productive, empowering ways.
Plato said it best, "At the touch of love...everyone becomes a poet."
As our short discussion went on, with me mostly listening to the others, I watched as the Governor’s composure visibly relaxed and her countenance brightened. I will meet again with Narciza in a couple weeks to share the concept further, but…she enthusiastically agreed to donate 30 hectares (74 acres) to Harmony House—and we will begin in May. We parted with the warm hug of sisters.
In the parking lot, Miriam asked the ages that I would be interested in helping. I responded from birth to 18—or maturity. Surprised, she volunteered that her job is working with the homeless infants of the area and that there are over 1500 homeless orphans between the ages of 0-5 years old (usually sick and needy) in that small province of about 17,000 people.
As we drove home, I had my mind flood with understanding and awareness of how to proceed. I realized that this first community of homes would deal with only those of that age group (0-5) and that the next Harmony House could deal with more or with older children, and the next one with teenagers, until we had taken care of the needs of the community. Based upon these same principles, healing communities could be established for the sick and elderly.
I am also thrilled with the prospects of what this will do for the surrounding province. Of course a sense of hope will be restored. Knowing that people from the States and other places of the world are taking a real, hands-on interest in THEM will produce a heightened sense of pride in their dwellings and community. Morale will go up as the town physically cleans up in preparation for their visitors. Visiting mentors from throughout the world will probably spend time frequenting some of the local shops and restaurants, interacting with their previously unknown brothers and sisters. Camaraderie will be established.
Those who volunteer in various ways will find they experience a completely different kind of “health retreat”. Although we will all work “by the sweat of thy brow”, hearts and bodies will be mended through the attention to fresh, raw fruits and vegetables, fun physical activity in an incredible setting, while reaching out to help heal others. Those who thrill to interact with children will find a joy unknown before because of the joyful principles lived there. Those who thrill to be noticed for their mastery and contributions to society (through their mentoring and help in the community) will find a great joy through their interested “audience”. And, of course, the children. They will have their physical and emotional needs met, thus freeing them to really live meaningful, productive lives while they discover WHO they truly are.
I will need to train those who will be helping and interacting by presenting my “JOY of Harmony” Seminars, thus finding increased joy in that outlet myself. Interacting with and seeing the healing and growth of the children and others will also bring me tremendous joy. And, possibly, my own children will be able to come spend some time with me as volunteers. THAT would be the “cherry on top!” :-)
Placed in family-type groups with about 10 children each, the “parents” will certainly be giving and serving a great amount of the time. Groundskeepers, handymen, transportation help, food handlers, “substitute parents”, educators and mentors of all types will all be very important to the community. However, no one (NO ONE!) will be given any kind of a luxurious salary. In fact, besides the basic needs being met (basic, fresh food; clothing; shelter; etc.) no one will be paid a dime. This is not about money! This is about finding our lives by losing our lives in the service of others.
Interestingly, Marcela explained that this last weekend (and particularly Sunday, March 8th) was the international (though not in the States) “El Dia de la Mujer”—“Day of the Woman”. How appropriate that the meeting and the invitation to begin caring for the needs of the children occurred during this time! I believe that when the compassionate side (typically relegated to women) of more and more of us is acted upon (irrespective of gender), the children of the world will be cared for, the earth will be cleaned up, and the quality of life for each one of us will be enhanced in like manner.
I believe that there are many who are waiting and hoping that the governments and/or the religions of the world and/or "alien beings" arriving will do something that will “save us”. But, just perhaps, it will be from the proper governing of our own individual actions as prompted by our pure hearts (the “Temple” of our souls). Perhaps as we all do our own part, no matter how tiny or grand, in a way that brings us personal happiness, we can find a world of peace and joy for all.
I believe that there are many ancient scriptures that point to this day; many esoteric writings that describe our time. Without quoting any of them in this venue, but allowing each reader to form their own thoughts and understandings, I do offer that ONLY by focusing on the “least among us” (and these children without homes, parents, food, and so many of the other “necessities” that most of us take for granted certainly qualify as “the least of the least”) we will be bringing peace and a greater sense of fulfillment to our own hearts as we help to bring a greater quality and quantity of JOY to theirs—and to the world.
I find it of interest that Harmony House and the true uniting and cleansing of the world is being initiated here in Latin America. Perhaps these people, in their poverty-stricken, most of them far-from-materialistic-state are most prepared for the inception of these principles. It will be most interesting to see if there are those from the rest of the world who will be able to truly reach down deeply into their own hearts and make the kind of difference that only they can make.
Although, perhaps, not “our brother’s keeper”, we are our own. As we live true to our own inner promptings we also find ourselves doing that which is most helpful to others, too. I beseech each interested reader to ask themselves: “What can I do?”
After enough of us have united together, perhaps the “leaders” and governments will take note. Perhaps at that time the red-tape will be taken from the existing programs and the implementation of Harmony House will be changed somewhat.
For some unknown-to-me-then reason, I was “called” out of Ecuador, before ever meeting again with Narciza.  Although it made no sense, still I trusted that there must be some reason.  Was it a timing issue?  Did the Ecuadorian people just require me to help plant the initial seed idea?  Like always, I walked through my transition back to the States… and beyond… knowing that I would one day understand.  I have kept my contact with my dear friends, assuring them that, “yes, some day I will be back….”
IF YOUR heart has a waking dream, if YOU desire to do some good, the only True Good possible with your life…
I now invite you to conduct deep introspection; as the Widow with her Mite.  What do YOU have to place upon the altar of humanity?  This is NOT about “money”, though that may be a temporary variable.  Do you have time?  Communication skills and or contacts with whom to share this post?  Extra materials that might be helpful?  IF money is your “mite,” then yes, of course, it will be gratefully received and implemented… transparently… to lay the foundation and kick-start Harmony House into working order.
I have dedicated my life, every breath I take, every thought I think, everything I do, to further the cause of global “Harmony House.”  This house in which I presently dwell, named and consecrated “Harmony House,” I now have the opportunity to purchase so that it is only and completely within my stewardship, so that it is not entangled with any ulterior motives.  This will be my first task:  establish the security of the structural building “on a firm foundation” so that the rest of the work of establishing global harmony can proceed surely.  To have a Harmony House I must have a house.  Though I do believe I will return at some time to Ecuador to assist in the further appendage there, I desire now to create the prototype for my vision HERE, in southern Utah.  Today is the day.  I am one of the ones “called.”  Hearing and heeding my “call,” I “elect” myself.
Again, I give my all.  If there are others who resonate and wish to get involved, please do!  Share this post worldwide.  May it go viral.  Scour your closets, your mind, whatever assets you might have.  The poor are everywhere.  Some of the poorest of the poor are those who have no clue they are not “rich.”  Yet, they are poor in “spirit” and know it not.  But those who “come unto me” I will feed.  I will bind up their wounds.  I will assist them to heal.  Body.  Mind.  Spirit.  As we each join hand-in-hand, the day WILL come when we will have saturated the globe, reached every hungry soul, become, once again, a global sisterhood.
If you have questions or comments or wish to make a donation in some way, see the information on my “Contact” page of my blog:  www.loveistheanswer.info
We CAN Each… We MUST Each join together in global harmony.  One family.  One sociality.  Brothers and sisters all.
Harmony House Becomes a Physical Reality
I have learned (rather “re-membered”) through my life, to be willing at all times and in all things to follow my pure and holy “heart of hearts”. Although often not understood, and certainly mis-understood by many others, I have proceeded. This “following” has brought me along a precipitous path of intrigue and adventure. I would never have guessed all the lessons that would unfold and the great treasury that would be discovered, one gem at a time. The greatest treasure, the “pearl of great price” I have found hiding within my own self… the True and Divine *ME*.
One mile-stone of my path was my “call” to move to southern Utah as I “am needed there” in 1999. Intrigued and surprised, still I responded and witnessed amazing doors open to expedite this move from Mesa, Arizona, the place I had called “home”.
After a year of living in Cedar City, Utah, my husband at that time agreed to join with me in receiving specific direction as to WHY we had been called there. The answer came through a beautiful shared experience as my mind, and then his, was opened to the need for us to establish a place of refuge and tender care and healing, a place of teaching and living truth in preparation for global peace. The name that I was given was “Harmony House for Children”.
Although many profound opportunities ensued and people magnetically responded, every door that initially appeared to be opening let us know that “the time was not yet ripe”. Two years later, in mid 2003, my 20-year-marriage ended. Wonderingly, I placed “Harmony House” in the back of my mind, knowing that (as in all things) understanding would come in the right time. While discussing our “settlement agreement”, I went over, reached out to, and held my (nearly) former spouse, telling him I forgave him and tenderly loved him. With tears streaming down his cheeks he responded that he did not understand me. Replying that he also did not understand “God” but could allow God to BE God and that that was what I had needed from him was to honor and respect my right to Be *Me*, he begged me to allow him to be a part of “Harmony House” when the time was right to proceed with it. I responded with gentle firmness that “doing the Lord’s work, I can ONLY work with those I can trust and that I had learned I could NOT trust him”. However, I hoped that perhaps the time would come that he Would prove himself trustworthy after all.
After many important life lessons, in 2008 I received another important “transfer”, this one to the South American country of Ecuador. Meeting many people who had been prepared for me unawares, I found myself one day in March of 2009 sitting across the desk from the Governor of Puerto Quito. As five of my near and dear new Ecuadorian friends explained to Narcisa the principles of “La Casa de Armonia” (“Harmony House”) and urged her to consider implementing it there in their impoverished community, I saw Narcisa shift from being preoccupied with her “important” governmental work to, setting it all aside, a stunned expression. Initially incredulous that someone (me) from “the states” would come to their country to assist them in their dire straits, she asked (in Spanish): “How are you going to PAY for this? We have no money, just an overwhelming need!”
Without prior knowledge of the answer to this question, indeed, teaching myself as I trusted my mouth to be an instrument for “the Word”, I explained: “It’s not about money!” I then expounded (to all of us) a profound eternal principle. This principle I will now share with you.
“When the NEEDY are the Target, money is freed up for the Whole Free Market!” Like the “widow with her two mites”, each one of us have Something to contribute to humanity. No matter how poor or insufficient our own situation, we each have a surplus of something. Perhaps we have an extra box of tile sitting around, or a favorite book. Maybe we have some time to share or our grandma’s inheritance that we really don’t need for our self. It could be that we have a vacation coming up or are retired or are looking for a way to satisfy an inner yearning to really do our part to help the current world situation. Regardless of the “surplus”, each of us has something, even if it is our willingness to give a smile or hug to a down-trodden stranger.
With tears streaming down her face, Narcisa pledged that, after the ensuing election, she would contribute 30 hectares of land within her province for the establishment of “La Casa de Armonia”. The other four adults in the room each met her emotional vibration with joy, tears, and similar pledges of support. I watched on in amazed gratitude and awe. However, it was not to be. At least not at that time. Surprisingly, I received a summons from within to leave Ecuador that May and come back to the states. Trustingly, I left, knowing that perhaps I had only been required to “plant the seed” of vision and hope there in Puerto Quito, Ecuador. Maybe a germination period was required before the idea and people were properly matured and ready to proceed. Maybe I was merely the sower and not the reaper of their particular part of the global field. Perhaps I would not take part in that harvest after all.
It has now been six years since my return. These six years have been the continuation of an amazing life where I have continued in my “Trust Fall”. I have had many opportunities to “test” others (unawares to myself at those times, even) to see their heart’s preparation for assisting in what I believe is the work of the “Gods”.
Nearly seventeen months ago, I was introduced by friends to a friend of theirs. Unsuspectingly, I soon found myself in another chapter of intense intrigue. As we quickly realized that we had been prepared from before our mortal memories to join forces, Dave Seely and I have been led through some amazing experiences. As he was still at that time extricating himself from his false ego and the shackles of false beliefs and habits, I became a mentor to him of sorts. As his false sharp edges have been exposed and he has had opportunity to choose to release them and polish the resulting facets of his True Self, he has become the Man that I immediately recognized and that, equally, he has realized all along was waiting to be discovered within himself. It has been probably the *Greatest Love Story* of all time. And *I* have been profoundly blessed to have a starring role in it! 
Though, again, so mis-understood by many who have watched from their unique perspective on the side-lines, everywhere Dave and I have gone, our love and constant adoring physical and verbal hugs of each other has brought forth countless sighing comments from others such as: “I want what you have!” “You two have the fairy-tale kind of love that I had nearly given up was possible!” “You two are so perfect for each other!” Indeed, Dave calls me his “Twin”. Truly, our minds and hearts resonate in uncanny precision and parallelism.
Through our experiences together Those who have guided my heart have used me to “test” Dave and prepare His Heart, allowing him to lay aside his former interests and habits for those that bring him far greater joy. Above all, he has learned the peace of living transparently, unashamed of who he is and willing to also live for the good of all others on this planet. Truly, he has achieved a “mighty change of heart” and placed his life into the hands of Those who guide and know each one of us here on Earth. Likewise, he has adopted as his vision the desire to wisely use his appetites, desires, passions, and all that he has at his disposal to care for the “least among us”. In this, Dave has found his greatest Joy. Yes, we are spiritual “Twins”.
Although our financial where-with-all has been slashed over the last few weeks, we have just sold the home that we have been living in and have had enough to purchase the nearby lot that we resonated with as we proceed now to officially begin the establishment of “Harmony House”. Both of us are consecrating “our time, talents, and everything we have” to the establishment of peace. Though we begin with just a modest abode, each detail has been planned with the goal of creating a place where healing, peace, “joy” may increase the understanding and brotherhood of those who are led to join with us. In this, we will continue our lives together, with our daughter Krystal and any and all others who come to us with “broken hearts and contrite spirits” and, likewise, offer their “two mites” upon “the altar of mankind”. I will finish writing my books of all that I have learned on my journey of love. We will continue giving the “Joy of Harmony Seminars”. And, together, we will teach and enjoy the greatest music ever yet to be composed and explored in our “Music is FUN-da-Mental” classes. Through it all, we will be catalysts for happiness, camaraderie and fun! This will be OUR “two mites”.
Yes, there is rampant anger, war, bloodshed, desecration and ugliness. However, Our focus, the mark of Our Target, is upon “the least among us” in our circle of influence. Somehow, we will continue what we have begun and, eventually, we will leave this world being able to say that we have “fought the God fight” and have done all we possibly could to “establish the cause of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”… for ALL!
March 10, 2009
The Day of the Woman = The Day of the Child = The Day of Hope for All the World!
(Warning: this blog entry could be a short “book” in itself. :-) To cut to the chase: Harmony House is being initiated among the truly poor and humble—here in Ecuador!!! [There, that didn’t take too much of your time, did it? :-)] However, if you want to see the photos and hear how this amazing sequence of events has been and IS Currently unfolding, keep reading for… “the rest of the story”. :-) )
You may have noticed that I have not posted a blog update for quite some time. Why? A couple months ago I received a distinct impression that I had to truly “Know” my Self—completely—before I could ever truly help any other properly. So with that, I figuratively curled up into my “cocoon” and, perhaps like the caterpillar, allowed my “growth” to come, unimpeded, from within Me. I stopped focusing on trying to help others through writing my books and attempted to live only and completely true to my own inner compass of “JOY”.
I did begin teaching English classes in February at the nearby pre-school where Krystal attends. That has brought in about $100. :-) per month. But more than the money, teaching the children English (masquerading as “English”, but actually lessons in “happiness”) has given me an easy, Joy-filled outlet where many lives have been touched—including mine. Other than that I have just gone about my simple day-to-day tasks, spending much time in pondering, “listening”, and allowing what is within me to present itself.
Also, through Facebook especially, I have been very gratified to reconnect with people from my “long ago”. Some from verrrrrry long ago! :-) It has been a true Joy! Somehow, the simple connecting with others has, for me, gone hand-in-hand with being “still” and finding Me. Ooooh, I have such a love for people!
As simple as all that has been, I know that many lives have been touched by the random or daily interchanges Krystal and I have had here in Ecuador—and possibly beyond. I know that people’s lives have been brightened by my smiles.
I have not allowed myself to focus on my limited money supply dwindling. Instead, I maintained my peace and reached out to connecting with others, knowing that at some point, I would “know”…and be able to proceed.
Well, my experience has been amazing. I have been “finding” myself in ways that I never could have in the United States. In the process, my understandings have deepened and increased far beyond what I had thought I had understood before.
I have known that if I was truly living true to my Self that my life would flow and be relatively simple for me; that the “work” I would feel to engage in would bring me a great amount of satisfaction. I have known that I would, in a sense, “magnetize” to me those things and people who were most ready to be a part of my life. A friend sent me a link to a video on “Peace Pilgrim”. I watched it—twice—read her writings and was greatly moved by her faith and the power of her determined desire to DO something that would Really bless the lives of others—even if it was simple. She acted on what she Could do. She has affected many people. Including me.
A couple weeks ago, Krystal and I were out walking around the neighborhood and stopped at the little store (“tienda”) near our house where they sell natural ice cream (“helado”). We began talking with the couple who own and run the store. After a while, the conversation turned to health, they peppered me with questions, and then the topic turned to Harmony House and my passionate desire to help bless the lives of the children of the world—beginning here in Ecuador, if possible.
The more we talked, the more emotional the man became until he shared some experiences he had had and then shared that “siempre, siempre, siempre” (always, always, always) he would help me and wanted to be a part of Harmony House. He then shared that he was an attorney and would see that I get my residency here in Ecuador. Wow! Again, just living my peace, “life” brought them to us—for the possible “price” of occasional yummy ice cream cones. :-)
The day before that, my dear friend, Luis (the owner of the preschool) arrived home from his construction project in Puerto Quito. (He is an engineer by trade.) He excitedly asked me if I would like to live in Puerto Quito. It turns out that he had gotten into a conversation with the English teacher at the little school there where I had extemporaneously taught a couple months ago when we had gone up with him. The wife of the English teacher is in the government of the province (“state”) and she was more than excited about what she heard about Harmony House and proposed that I personally come speak with her about beginning the project there.
Well, Krystal and I did go up to Puerto Quito again—this past weekend. THAT IS WHAT I’M LEADING UP TO…! :-) But, first, I’d like to share what happened the night before.
Friday night, Krystal and I went out with a new friend, Fernando. He took us up to the “Panecilla” (Spanish for “little bread roll”) which is the name of the hill upon which Ecuador's “National Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary“ stands. Before the Spanish Conquistadors gave it this funny name, Panecillo – “little bread roll” – the hill was called Yavirac and it is said that the Incans had built a temple there to worship their god, the Sun. The building of the Panecilla began in 1976 and took about 30 years to complete. The hill upon which it sits is in the very center of town where the Incan’s for many years had a beehive-shaped oven for making their healing drinks. (The oven still stands as a monument.)
Made from 7,000 sheets of aluminum, “the Virgin” stands 41 meters tall and can be seen from anywhere in Quito. Locals are proud of their Virgin as it's the only one in the world that has wings and reminds one of an angel. What is really unique is that the Virgin is in a dancing position in contrast to the usual static Madonnas. With her feet poised on top of Ecuador, she stands on top of a huge, aluminum globe of the world. With her right arm held in a square, her left arm crosses her body and holds onto a chain that is connected to a snake-like beast at her feet that she has subdued. She also has wings and a halo of 12 stars surrounding her head. At night, and especially during “La Navidad”, the Panecilla is lit up and becomes a veritable “lighthouse” to the city. I believe there is great significance to the symbolism here but will not elaborate upon it now.
Also of interest, at least to me, Ecuador was the first South American country to win their independence, with the voice of liberty being sounded nation-wide on my birthday (August 10th).
My oldest son, Tyler, got engaged this very weekend to a most beautiful girl. They plan to get married in June. Although, of course, it would be wonderful to personally be with them in this exciting time…I don’t believe I will. As much as I love them, support their choices in life, and am thrilled for their happiness, there are so many young ones right here near me that are without any love and support…or even the barest of necessities. I know that Tyler and Melani will find understanding.
Bryanne, my 18 year old daughter, called at the first of the year after having an incredible dream that, she said, seemed different than anything she had experienced before. To the best of my ability and through notes I took and her repeated telling, here is her dream. I was lying on a tile floor with my arm around her as she knelt by my side. As I opened the right side of my body which seemed to have no ribs, I reached in, taking out my heart, and said, dramatically, “I must offer my life so another might live!” She described the heart as gigantic and not from the left side of my body, but from the right. Although it was damp and a deep pink color, it was not bloody or wet, but beautiful. She said that she somehow saw within its hollow cavity another, smaller heart, about the size of a typical one. The large heart had a string somehow attached to it, like an umbilical cord, with a tag of some kind. Bryanne said that I then set it down on the tile and we both watched together as it continued to beat slower and slower, finally stopping and I closed my eyes. She said that she had confirmed to her at that time her decision to be a heart surgeon. She picked up the warm heart, opened back up my body, placed it inside and continued to rhythmically pump it until it started beating again, at which point she woke up, knowing that what she had just dreamed was pretty amazing and somehow surreal.
Saturday, Krystal and I got up very early and started out with Luis and his family via their car. Partway to Puerto Quito, traffic was stalled because of a landslide. Huge boulders and piles of mud filled the road. As we waited for it to be cleared by the tractors and crew, Marcela, Luis’ wife, commented that they had been inundated by an inordinate amount of rain over the last few months. Interesting! (Right about the time I had found The Sealed Portion there was unprecedented flooding very near my house in Santa Clara, Utah… Hmmmm.)
Arriving at Puerto Quito, Luis took care of his business there at the school site and then realized that his brakes were broken on the car. While he worked on the car, the others of us walked up and down the main street of town. Groups of pre-teen homeless boys, like swarms of bees, molested the local shopkeepers, kicking at their metal doors and otherwise making their lives, obviously, frustrated. I thought of my own Spencer (12) and Parker (10) and realized that it could easily be “them” in this situation if it were reversed.
After fixing the car and quite a lengthy investigation, Luis was able to find the name and whereabouts of the English teacher. When we found his house, both he and his wife, Miriam, happened to be home and graciously invited us in. As Marcela needed to be back to work in Quito that evening, we just had a short amount of time to visit. I gave them my copy in English of the prospectus I had prepared of Harmony House. Bolivar read through it and asked questions (in his halting English) while his wife gleaned what she could. Excitedly, she called the “Governor” of the province and was able to get me a spur-of-the-moment meeting with her.
When we arrived at the governor’s office, I was sweaty and “glistening” from the high humidity and dressed in Capri pants and a white T-shirt, my hair pulled back in a pony tail—not how one would typically dress for the occasion, but I’m sure it was all perfect. I was at peace.
As we waited a few minutes, Bolivar seemed to proceed to attempt to “sell” me on why Puerto Quito needed Harmony House more than any other place in Ecuador. (Although my heart filled with the disparity of the situation of so many young, needy children—as well as adults, I was beaming inside that I might have just found the match between my burning desire and others’ needs being fulfilled!) When the Governor came, I was introduced and then the three of them, Luis, Bolivar and Miriam presented my heart’s vision—at least I believe they did, as it was all done in Spanish and I only understood bits and pieces. They waited after asking me if I knew the meaning of her name “Narciza” (“the attribute of the human psyche characterized by a great amount of admiration of oneself; self love”—I had to look it up to be sure after I had gotten home :-)). Not remembering the exact definition, still I responded that with that name, she must be perfect for her job. :-)
As they commenced talking about Harmony House, it was obvious that Narciza was only partially interested and had a great many things weighing on her mind as she proceeded to open and read her mail. Occasionally she would ask questions or make comments. Although I have gotten somewhat capable of understanding spoken Spanish, I have never heard anyone speak as rapidly as she did and therefore, could glean very little from her words.
Narciza seemed greatly intrigued that someone (me) from the United States would come to her country and desire to truly help. I realized that she was focused on the “milliones” of dollars that it would require to facilitate my plan and she emphatically presented that they had no money to offer, though they could donate land. I interceded as best I could that “the focus is NOT on the money, but on the hearts and the hands of willing people.” I told her that I believe that everyone in the world has a beautiful heart, although some seem tightly closed at the present. There are a great many that see the grave situation of the present world and would like to help, but few have the proper vision of how to go about this.
I shared my belief that there are many people who could help in some way (large or small), and though some considered me “loco”, we each needed to proceed in our own unique way, even if not understood by others. One might have a box of left-over tile from a building project. Another may be moving to a smaller home and have children’s books, musical instruments, clothes, furniture or other materials that would be helpful to donate to the children. Another may have a great desire to manually work, thereby dedicating a month/ summer/ retirement/ rest of their life to building up and maintaining the facility or helping “parent” the children. Another may have money to donate but no interest or ability to directly help. Another might want to personally volunteer, but not have the money to get here. Yet another may have great organizing abilities to oversee the volunteers, etc. etc. I shared that this project, I believe, was one that was greatly needed by all the people in the world and that this first one would serve as a prototype for others and that, I believe, Harmony Houses will dot the globe some day.
Especially considering the current economic situation of the United States and the rest of the world, it is highly likely that this project will end up benefitting many people that never would have imagined themselves involved—or their children or grandchildren.
Not only that, but I have already met many people right here in Ecuador that have expressed interest in helping with this project, again, each in their own unique way.
Harmony House will be mostly self-sustaining in that most of the food will be produced on site through the fruit trees and gardens grown and tended there. Where possible, the power, sewage and water will be as efficient, even self-sufficient, as possible. Also, the children will be taught all the basic skills (at least to some degree) of running the community, such as gardening, maintaining the facilities, cleaning, helping to prepare the basic meals, caring for the clothes, etc. Depending on their interests and desires, they will be able to have further, more intensive training in any of these areas.
Lighthouse Academy, the sister component of Harmony House, is the name of the type of education that will be in place at Harmony House. In this system, the curriculum is largely determined by the child’s heart. Literature, reading, writing, arithmetic, music will all be taught utilizing “the classics” but the GREATEST classic for each child will be the “book” they “write” through their own experiences. There will be much freedom during the day to pursue their individual desires and become proficient in the areas of their choosing. This will be done through mentoring, individual study, group projects, or in other ways determined by their area of interest and in consultation with their educational advisors.
Because of time constraints and language impediments, I did not completely “flesh out” the Harmony House concept in our brief (probably 20 minute) meeting—nor will I here. However, I truly see Harmony House as a powerful way to mend the world, through the hearts and hands of those willing to help. If a reader has interest, I would be happy to send more information and/or meet with them in a mini-seminar of sorts.
Not only will the children be raised to live healthy, empowered, Joy-filled lives that benefit many others as well, but the outlying community itself will be blessed. Yes, there will be less and less “swarms” of molesting or haunting street children, but the effect will be much greater than that. Unlike any other program, Harmony House is not a barricaded structure but instead depends upon interaction with others.
The principles taught and lived at Harmony House are those that I have discovered and implemented in my own life and with my own children. They are the ones that created apparent miracles in the lives of the children in my preschool in the States and that have created rippling out effects from those who have attended my seminars. They are the very same principles that I have earnestly sought (and found) and been writing about in my books. Yet they are more pure and feasible now, because of my experiences. These principles are all about respecting all others (and HOW to do that) while living happy, empowered, healthy lives. For any who are interested, these principles are aligned with and lead to the Worldwide United Foundation: http://www.worldwideunited.org/
Only those with a degree of understanding and a desire to master these principles will be allowed to interact with the children within Harmony House. I believe that we will see similar results: physical bodies as well as emotions will be healed, intellect and creativity unseen before will be unleashed, and a peace and Joy will be found within each heart and, thus, within the collective interaction of all those living and helping there.
Although in no way opulent, Harmony House will be built, run and maintained with a high quality of workmanship and materials. The flower-graced lawns and the attention to detail of each structure will all echo the theme of respect and beautiful harmony. Music and laughter, learning and creativity will sing through the interactions allowed and encouraged by the setting.
People from all over the world who agree to the principles of H.H. (all hinging on a correct understanding and living of the “Golden Rule”), who have a craft or interest to share, will serve as “mentors” for the children who have similar interests. Those from the nearby communities will be invited to participate in periodic concerts and art shows or other “performances” where the children will perform and sell through “admission” and individual transactions the pieces they have been working/learning on. In this way, they will gain a sense of pride in their accomplishments, gain “feedback” from others, prepare for their future, as well as earn spending (or saving) money that they might choose to utilize for desired “things” (such as chocolate bars, iPods, things not considered “basic necessities” and provided by H.H.). By the time of maturity, these children will be prepared to enter out into the greater community as a true, whole, healed, happy, productive adult, ready to pursue an occupation of their passion and training as well as continue to interact in productive, empowering ways.
Plato said it best, "At the touch of love...everyone becomes a poet."
As our short discussion went on, with me mostly listening to the others, I watched as the Governor’s composure visibly relaxed and her countenance brightened. I will meet again with Narciza in a couple weeks to share the concept further, but…she enthusiastically agreed to donate 30 hectares (74 acres) to Harmony House—and we will begin in May. We parted with the warm hug of sisters.
In the parking lot, Miriam asked the ages that I would be interested in helping. I responded from birth to 18—or maturity. Surprised, she volunteered that her job is working with the homeless infants of the area and that there are over 1500 homeless orphans between the ages of 0-5 years old (usually sick and needy) in that small province of about 17,000 people.
As we drove home, I had my mind flood with understanding and awareness of how to proceed. I realized that this first community of homes would deal with only those of that age group (0-5) and that the next Harmony House could deal with more or with older children, and the next one with teenagers, until we had taken care of the needs of the community. Based upon these same principles, healing communities could be established for the sick and elderly.
I am also thrilled with the prospects of what this will do for the surrounding province. Of course a sense of hope will be restored. Knowing that people from the States and other places of the world are taking a real, hands-on interest in THEM will produce a heightened sense of pride in their dwellings and community. Morale will go up as the town physically cleans up in preparation for their visitors. Visiting mentors from throughout the world will probably spend time frequenting some of the local shops and restaurants, interacting with their previously unknown brothers and sisters. Camaraderie will be established.
Those who volunteer in various ways will find they experience a completely different kind of “health retreat”. Although we will all work “by the sweat of thy brow”, hearts and bodies will be mended through the attention to fresh, raw fruits and vegetables, fun physical activity in an incredible setting, while reaching out to help heal others. Those who thrill to interact with children will find a joy unknown before because of the joyful principles lived there. Those who thrill to be noticed for their mastery and contributions to society (through their mentoring and help in the community) will find a great joy through their interested “audience”. And, of course, the children. They will have their physical and emotional needs met, thus freeing them to really live meaningful, productive lives while they discover WHO they truly are.
I will need to train those who will be helping and interacting by presenting my “JOY of Harmony” Seminars, thus finding increased joy in that outlet myself. Interacting with and seeing the healing and growth of the children and others will also bring me tremendous joy. And, possibly, my own children will be able to come spend some time with me as volunteers. THAT would be the “cherry on top!” :-)
Placed in family-type groups with about 10 children each, the “parents” will certainly be giving and serving a great amount of the time. Groundskeepers, handymen, transportation help, food handlers, “substitute parents”, educators and mentors of all types will all be very important to the community. However, no one (NO ONE!) will be given any kind of a luxurious salary. In fact, besides the basic needs being met (basic, fresh food; clothing; shelter; etc.) no one will be paid a dime. This is not about money! This is about finding our lives by losing our lives in the service of others.
Interestingly, Marcela explained that this last weekend (and particularly Sunday, March 8th) was the international (though not in the States) “El Dia de la Mujer”—“Day of the Woman”. How appropriate that the meeting and the invitation to begin caring for the needs of the children occurred during this time! I believe that when the compassionate side (typically relegated to women) of more and more of us is acted upon (irrespective of gender), the children of the world will be cared for, the earth will be cleaned up, and the quality of life for each one of us will be enhanced in like manner.
I believe that there are many who are waiting and hoping that the governments and/or the religions of the world and/or "alien beings" arriving will do something that will “save us”. But, just perhaps, it will be from the proper governing of our own individual actions as prompted by our pure hearts (the “Temple” of our souls). Perhaps as we all do our own part, no matter how tiny or grand, in a way that brings us personal happiness, we can find a world of peace and joy for all.
I believe that there are many ancient scriptures that point to this day; many esoteric writings that describe our time. Without quoting any of them in this venue, but allowing each reader to form their own thoughts and understandings, I do offer that ONLY by focusing on the “least among us” (and these children without homes, parents, food, and so many of the other “necessities” that most of us take for granted certainly qualify as “the least of the least”) we will be bringing peace and a greater sense of fulfillment to our own hearts as we help to bring a greater quality and quantity of JOY to theirs—and to the world.
I find it of interest that Harmony House and the true uniting and cleansing of the world is being initiated here in Latin America. Perhaps these people, in their poverty-stricken, most of them far-from-materialistic-state are most prepared for the inception of these principles. It will be most interesting to see if there are those from the rest of the world who will be able to truly reach down deeply into their own hearts and make the kind of difference that only they can make.
Although, perhaps, not “our brother’s keeper”, we are our own. As we live true to our own inner promptings we also find ourselves doing that which is most helpful to others, too. I beseech each interested reader to ask themselves: “What can I do?”
After enough of us have united together, perhaps the “leaders” and governments will take note. Perhaps at that time the red-tape will be taken from the existing programs and the implementation of Harmony House will be changed somewhat. (For a powerful slide-show presentation of precisely how this can work, please go to: http://www.worldwideunited.org/ and sign the declaration.)
As Miriam prepares them and sends them on to me, I will be posting photos and highlights of the children and the general situation of the community. Perhaps this will be of help to those considering getting involved. If so, please watch for an upcoming blog issue. Also, “You Tube” has several videos of Puerto Quito which may be of interest to view.
For those who have my email address, feel free to write to me with your ideas. Others can write to me through the “contact” link address of my website.
May we each find peace and JOY in our own hearts as we bring increased JOY to those around us.
My great love to YOU,
Kimberly
It’s a Small World
It's a world of laughter, a world of tears;
It's a world of hopes and a world of fears;
There's so much that we share,
That it's time we're aware
It's a small world, after all.
It's a Small World, after all;
It's a Small World, after all;
It's a Small World, after all;
It's a small, small, world.
There is just one moon and one golden sun,
And a smile means friendship to everyone;
'Though the mountains divide,and the oceans are wide,
It's a small world, after all.
It's a Small World, after all;
It's a Small World, after all;
It's a Small World, after all;
It's a small, small, world.
En el mundo hay risas y dolor
Esperanzas y hay tambien temor
Mucho hay en verdad, que poder compartir
Entre la humanidad
Muy pequeño el mundo es
Muy pequeño el mundo es
Debe haber mas hermandad
Muy pequeño es
Una luna hay solo hay un sol
Para todos brillan sin distincion
Y aunque muy grandes son, las montañas y el mar
Muy pequeño el mundo es
Muy pequeño el mundo es
Muy pequeño el mundo es
Debe haber mas hermandad
Muy pequeño es
